OSINT search launchpad
Fifty external tools in ten categories, practical research pathways and a query launchpad. Searches open the providers; no investigation results are retrieved by IIS.
External services · no results hosted here · queries sent only when you click a provider link.

Build a query, then open the chosen provider
The text stays in this page until you click an external link. This launchpad does not run searches, scan a target or combine results. Use terms, a public domain or a public URL appropriate to the destination.
No passwords, tokens, private links or confidential identifiers. The provider receives your query when you click. Domains use only the host name, such as example.org.
Empty query: links open each provider’s home page.

| Purpose | Example | Check |
|---|---|---|
| Find an exact expression | "annual report" "2025" | Compare the original publication with copied passages. |
| Restrict a public source | site:example.org "annual report" | The example domain is reserved; replace it with the relevant public source. |
| Locate a document format | filetype:pdf "annual report" | Read the document date and publisher, not just the file name. |
| Exclude a distracting word | "annual report" -template | An exclusion can also hide a relevant source; compare without it. |

Questions about tools and external searches
Where are search results displayed?
On the selected provider’s website, in a new tab. IIS does not retrieve, host or display investigation results. Directory filters only filter the editorial catalogue.
Is the typed query stored?
The launchpad builds links inside your browser, without sending the query to IIS or storing it in browser storage. Clicking a prepared link sends the query to the named provider, under its own rules.
Are all tools free and available in every language?
No. Access may require an account, subscription, software or quota. The catalogue is available in French and English; providers set their interface languages, coverage and conditions.
Does no result prove that a fact is false?
No. Index coverage, spelling, language, access limits and capture dates can explain a missing result. Record what was searched and what remains unknown.
